"All the world's a stage,
and all the men and women merely players:
they have their exits and their entrances;
and one man in his time plays many parts.. "Back then, if there were something known as Facebook, I'm sure this catchy phrase would be voted as the 'Best phrase of the century'.
It's really amazing how such phrases is actually reflected in the 21th century. Indeed, the world we're now living in is filled with so much deceptions to a point whereby 'Trust' seemed to be like the last thing that is ever going through our mind. Manipulation and mind control games are a common sight and it is just like playing a set of English Chess, whoever that takes a wrong step would suffer from the consequences and it's going to cost them deary. Before planning every precise move, you've got to know your opponent's weakness inside out before you can executed your move effectively.
Poker faces are pretty common nowadays, not forgetting lies. Ever heard of Pinocchio, the wooden lad with an enchanted nose that grew whenever he tells a lie? Sad to say, it never happens in the real life, which makes it hard to judge the good from the bad. Such devastating tools certainly put Trust and Faith at risk. Of course, one has to know the techniques before the other party is swayed and convinced that you're just a harmless little marshmallow.
Another contributing factor would be nonetheless be 'Gossips'. Never underestimate the power of 'Gossiping' for they've got the capability to exaggerate stories. And when things go awfully wrong, people would then pinpoint their fingers at every single being except themselves.
As we venture deep into this life-long journey filled with much turbulence, bliss and not forgetting paranoiac, we'll be exposed to people with all kinds of character. Some would make a grand entrance as they enter and left you with deep impression before making their exits into their next stages of life while the others acted as passer-bys.
While we 'stumbled' into the different stages of life, we come to realise that only a handful stayed while the majority drifted off, each pursuing their own goals.By this time, you ought to know best deep inside who are the ones worthy of your trust.
As you can see, it's a very realistic world. Apologetic but it's the UGLY truth.
