The future is so unpredictable.
My lovely grandmother invited me over for dinner today, knowing that my whole family is out on vacation and poor YK has no dinner. She forgot about one important factor and that is while i stay in Pasir ris, she lived in Bukit Panjang! Anyway, i happily took 2hours to groom myself and another 1hour 25minutes train ride before i got to her house. Upon reaching her unit, she was already standing at the doorstep. She greeted me with her blissful and elated smile, which reminded me why I've gone through such a hassle for such a seemingly normal dinner.
The table was set and dinner was served. There were 6 dishes placed neatly on the oscillating 'thing'. After dinner, we chatted for awhile and i left at 7.30pm. Walked over to Bukit Panjang Plaza, hoping to do some shopping. But to my alas, the mall is infested with restaurant. I told my friend, Fennie teo that they ought to change it to Bukit Panjang EATERY instead! Rather disappointed by what the mall had to offer, i decided to head home via the green line in Jurong East.
Indeed, this trip was tiring yet fruitful.
After texting Fennie teo for approximately a week, i found out alot of dark secrets about her. To summarize it all, i've given her a nickname that i think best describe her. (Y)
