Reminiscing the pretty old Past

Other than my usual Problem Statement, there was this one thing i learnt today. Well, the term 'Learn' might not be appropriate but anyway, here's the story.

Ever since i was a young and innocent little boy, my level of curiousness always got the better of me. Writing letters, be it to your friends or crushs was the IN thing back in the past. I was of no exception.

Unlike the Present whereby emails are sent and received in split seconds, mails would take a couple of days to get to your destination and the mere thoughts of receiving a letter from my crush would totally made my day. Trust me, the feeling is never good until you see that white papery thing lying on your table. It might sound barbaric but i enjoy tearing up every single letter i received. I wouldn't give credits to my impulsiveness, but the feeling is really awesome.

After reading through the contents of every individual letter, i would store them in a shoebox. Most of the time, there would be this 'P.S' found at the bottom left hand corner of the letter and it never fails to catch my attention. Initially i thought that it would be some kind of 'cool' trend to reply with a P.S and i began writing letters with P.S at the end of every letter.

Soon, it dawned on me that there was actually another meaning to this 'P.S'.

'Most commonly, people include a postscript when they remember something right before mailing a letter, and wish to addend it rather than including it in a future communication'

By the time i was primary 6, i've actually moved on and gradually, from exchange home address, we prefer to exchange phone numbers now. Nonetheless, it was definitely an awesome experience and i would love to do it all over again.

P.S: The feeling still lingers after so many years.
