Yup, Daddy's back.
The 6days 5night, consisting of Macau and HK has finally come to an end. Ever since 19th, i've been dying return home and here i am.
The schedule in Macau was pretty mundane. As i was walking down the long hallways of Venetian, one of the best hotels on the island, i start to wonder how fortunate i was, to be able to stroll down this magnificent looking place with my family. Indeed, as we grow up into fine young adults, the way we perceive things are no longer on the surface. Instead, we would have the tendency to analyze every single detail in an atomistic way.
Life in HK was fast-pacing. In fact, it's even faster than the pace of an average Singaporean and boy, they can be really rowdy at times. Not that i want to be a party-pooper, there were some disturbing scenes which dampened my Christmas spirit. I hate to admit this but a handful of Cheena really disgusts me to a HUGE extent. I see some pathetic losers selling puppies on the street and they would use some weird equipment to clip their ears up and use menace-looking stuff to spank them. Some idiots even threw them around like soft toys. Throughout the whole day, i was battling my inner emotions and i had a tough time shifting my eyes to another direction.
Never mind about those nincompoops, pretty sure Karma would get even with them someday.
Ever since i stepped into the shores of HK, i've been gorging on dimsum, roasted delights and rice. Needless to say, the food in BOTH Macau and HK are way better than Singapore. Even the Macdonalds in HK beat Singapore's outlet hands down. Reason being that HK-nians are very very particular when it comes to the quality of the food. Although it's pretty tempting to migrate or work in HK, their Standard of living could be pretty high. A bowl of chicken rice could easily costs you SGD$6 in a simple shop located at some isolated corner, not very ideal for eaters like yours truly.
Also, i can give them two thumbs-up for their undying passion for fashion.
-YK; Overall, the trip wasn't very pleasant and i pretty much detest and regretted going to Szezhen. Even till now, that sense of helplessness still lingers within me.
