Spare time

Hey guys,

If you've ever noticed, lately I've been busy helping out at my dad's site located at Merryn Road. It's not very far off from Adam's Road should you have zero idea as to where the location is. Little had i know that i haven't been blogging for weeks or maybe even months until i came back to school today to get my laptop reformatted.

As i sat down at some isolated corner whilst waiting for the personnel to call me, i began to surf the Net and it soon dawned on me that i've neglected Blogger.

Anyway, working at my dad's site has proven to be an eye-opening experience to me and amidst all the standard procedures that is necessary for any amateur to follow, i actually gained a few more insights that can be pretty relevant in our everyday life.

Firstly, a site is pretty much like a war zone. Even if you're equipped with a pair of safety boots, harness and a safety helmet, there's no guarantee that you'll be perfectly safe. Everything and anything found on the floor can be used as a tool to harm someone else. Ranging from broken pieces of wood planks filled with rusty nails to power drills. Everyday is a battle against potential pests like mosquitoes.

Secondly, when you step into a site, you got to show some respect to the workers and in-charge, should you look down upon the subordinates by hanging your head up high, you're bound to knock into some supports and that's gonna hurt real bad. So be humble at all times, even after you've completed your inspection.

Despite the dusty and undesirable working conditions, there's something worth looking forward to. Nonetheless, im referring to the different models and brands of supercars, ranging from GTRs to European cars like Ferarris and Audi R8s.

Next week, i'll be venturing into a different site which is located near Orchard Road. Pretty sure it's going to be another sexciting expedition.
